Second Phase to Open soon at Landstown Commons in Virginia Beach, Grand Opening Festivities Planned For June

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (March 21, 2008) -- Retailers encompassing more than 70,000 square feet of retail space will open within the next 90 days in the second phase at Landstown Commons, the 510,000 square foot power center The Goodman Company is developing in the Gateway corridor of Virginia Beach at Princess Anne and Dam Neck Roads.

Robert Saffran, senior vice president of leasing at The Goodman Company, said Best Buy, A.C. Moore, Shoe Carnival, Deb Shops, Starbucks, Ntelos, Z Pizza, Pancheros Mexican Grill, Hair Cuttery, GNC, AT&T, Lee Spa Nails, Ghq Sports Salon, Firehouse Subs and FedEx Kinkos, Mattress Discounters and America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses will open their doors before the end of June.

Saffran said Landstown Commons plans to host a grand opening to showcase the shopping center in June.

The Goodman Company recently negotiated new long-term lease agreements with four stores that will total more than 38,000 square feet of retail space in the new phase, including Books-A-Million with 15,568 square feet; Walgreen's with 14,500 square feet; Deb Shops, with 7,200 square feet; and The Skinny Dip, a frozen yogurt café, with 1,207 square feet.

The Ross Dress for Less store opened in early March, Saffran said, as did Christopher & Banks and C.J. Banks.
