The Goodman Company Announces Three New Leases at Landstown Commons in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Jan. 23, 2008) -- The Goodman Company of West Palm Beach recently negotiated new long term lease agreements that totaled 7,910 square feet of commercial space at Landstown Commons, the 510,000 square foot upscale retail center The Goodman Company is completing in the Gateway corridor of Virginia Beach at the corner of Princess Ann and Dam Neck Rds. across from the Sentara Medical complex and office park.

Saffran said construction is nearly complete on Ross Dress for Less, Best Buy and Petsmart, which are expected to open in the spring.

The Goodman Company will turn over all three facilities to the tenants for interior improvements in February, Saffran explained.

Exterior construction of A.C. Moore will be completed by mid-March, Saffran added, and the arts and crafts super store is expected to open soon thereafter.

Also slated for spring openings at Landstown Commons: Starbuck's, Shoe Carnival, Mattress Discounters, America's Best Contacts, FedEx Kinko's, Firehouse Subs, Z Pizza, Panchero's Mexican Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse, GNC, AT&T, Hair Cuttery, Lee Spa Nails and others.

Kohl's, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Office Max, Lane Bryant, Justice, Rack Room Shoes, Massage Envy, Five Below, Buffalo Wild Wings, Gamestop and other retailers opened in the fall of last year.

Saffran said the second phase at Landstown Commons will increase total retail to 510,000 square feet of space and will open with nearly 100 percent occupancy.
